It was Year 4’s turn to visit St Andrew’s Church today! ⛪️
We had a fantastic time creating historical timelines, exploring the church for fascinating artefacts, and listening to a captivating Northumberland legend.

But the clear favourite? Trying on helmets and handling weapons from times gone by – a hands-on history experience they won’t forget! ⚔️🛡️

Year 4 had an excellent morning visiting OMS!
They took part in some amazing art and super science lessons – a real treat for curious minds! 🎨🧪
The highlight for many was getting hands-on in the science lab, where they absolutely loved trying out experiments and exploring like real scientists.

Year 3 had an amazing morning at St Andrew’s church in Bywell, built in 850AD. We looked at a local timeline all the way from Hadrians wall being built to now, which included The Battle of Hexham, Anne Armstrong, a girl from Stocksfield, who accused her neighbour of turning her into a witch, Grace Darling, George Stephenson and his steam train and more amazing medieval history from Northumberland. ...
